At Boulder Organic, we believe everyone deserves access to delicious, organic food, so we’re proud to serve up the good stuff and help feed those in need.
Every year we donate 2% of our fresh soup to the Community Food Share and other non-profits in the Boulder area. Through these collaborations our soup is distributed free of charge via 43 partner agencies. This past week we had the exciting opportunity to volunteer on-site for the first time at the Community Food Share in Louisville, CO. 22 members of our team dedicated over 100 hours to assist with sorting and packing goods in the warehouse. The experience was both enjoyable and fulfilling!
The Community Food Share is an amazing organization that services the 1 in 6 people in Boulder and Broomfield Counties who are hungry. Approximately 14,000 children are enrolled in the School Free Lunch program. In 2015, the organization distributed 8.7 million meals to children, families, seniors, and individuals free of charge.
We couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of such a helpful community. Learn more about the Community Food Share program and how you can help here!
