Butternut Squash Soup with Apple and Cheddar Melt

Sometimes the simplest recipes are the most delicious. Crisp, sweet apples are a perfect pair with sharp cheddar – crunchy and sweet meets rich and tangy. Melt the cheddar to round out the sweetness of the apple and open up the deep flavor profiles of the cheese!


Simply take your choice of bread, lay some apple slices on top, and cover with a generous slice of sharp cheddar. Melt under a broiler or toaster oven for a few minutes while heating up a bowl of Butternut Squash soup. Heat until soup is bubbling hot and cheese is evenly melted.
